My EMI Tracker – Loan Manager
This Privacy Policy explains how My EMI Tracker – Loan Manager (“the App”) handles information. The App helps users manually track loans, EMIs, payment schedules, due dates, and reminders. It is a tracking tool and is not a bank, lender, credit provider, or financial adviser.
You may enter loan names, lender names, loan amounts, EMI amounts, interest rates, due dates, payment status, notes, and other loan-tracking information. If you create an account, you may provide profile information such as your name, age, and email address. Support requests may contain a category, subject, message, and limited diagnostic information.
The App may be used in Guest mode. Guest data is primarily stored locally on the device. Signed-in users may use cloud synchronization and backup. Authentication may be provided through Firebase Authentication, including email/password and Google Sign-In where available.
For signed-in users, relevant App data may be stored or synchronized using Google Firebase services, including Cloud Firestore. Access controls are used to restrict users to their own data.
The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect or process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, ad interaction information, and technical information as permitted by device settings and applicable law. Google's processing is governed by Google's own privacy practices.
With permission, the App may send notifications for EMI due dates, payment reminders, loan-related events, support updates, and other relevant reminders. Notification permissions can be managed through device settings.
If you contact support through the App, we may process submitted information together with limited technical details such as app version, platform, operating system version, app variant, and submission time. Do not include passwords, OTPs, card numbers, bank credentials, authentication tokens, or other sensitive credentials in support messages.
Information is used to provide App functionality, calculate and display loan schedules, synchronize account data, provide reminders, respond to support requests, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required to operate App functionality, such as Google Firebase and Google AdMob, subject to their respective terms and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and security.
Guest data may remain on your device until deleted through App functionality, app storage is cleared, or the App is uninstalled. Cloud data may be retained while needed to provide the service. Where an account/data deletion feature is available, users may use it to request deletion. Users may also contact the developer regarding privacy or deletion requests.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect information, including authentication and database access controls. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
The App is not specifically designed for children. Users should use the App only where permitted by applicable laws and the age requirements of relevant app stores and services.
The App is an organizational and tracking tool. Calculations, schedules, balances, interest estimates, and reminders may differ from official lender records. Users should verify financial information directly with their lender or financial institution before making payments or financial decisions.
The App may use services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, Expo, and related platform services. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when App features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when appropriate.
